How to get from the keyboard? I find it a tad weird that my ps2 lookalike gamepad is reported by your game as an xbox controller AND that I tedh forced mb-8 disconnect it when I start this game less it thinks I want to use a gamepad to play this w4.

I did not install my Nostromo and my mouse and keyboard is working now. The only thing that can be done in the future is to illegally download the game first and then try it, this is a prime example of a game that has been missold to the public and Ubisoft know they can get away with it due to the fact that Steam will not refund the game once purchased.

Guys just delete the patch or reinstall the game and abort patching. In gameplay however, the only keys on the keyboard that the game responds to are Ctrl, Shift, and Esc.
